Dan Lee, Vice President/Owner, joined First Weber Group, Inc. as a result of the merger of Don Lee Realty, Inc. (a 20 agent/3 office company) in 2001. He has been a Realtor since 1978 specializing in commerical, investment, recreational and residential real estate marketing and brokerage management. He is also a Certified Residential Appraiser.
A former President of the Wisconsin Realtors Association and Vice President of the National Association of Realtors, Dan has served on numerous committees at the local, state and national levels of the real estate organization, and has held leadership positions in economic development and church organizations. He currently serves (since 1999) on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) which promotes economic growth, as well as affordable housing for first time home buyer and for low/moderate income and elderly tenants. Dan also serves on the Executive Committe of DMI (Downtown Madison, Inc.), an organization that promotes the growth and well being of downtown Madison as a place to work, recreate and live. In addition, he serves on the Advisory Board of Associated Bank, South Central.
Dan Lee graduated from the University of Notre Dame (BBA - Accounting) in 1974, holds the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) professional designation, and is also licensed as a Certified Residential Appraiser.
Dan and his wife Peggy reside in Westport, just north of Madison. Interests include travel, water sports, golf, reading and Notre Dame sports. They enjoy their family immensely which includes son Matt, his wife Rachel Lee, and daughter Maggie currently pursuing their professional careers and 2 special grandsons.
