Gwen has lived in the Holy Hill area for over 20 years. Her involvement in the community is overwhelming. She has been re-elected for 12 years to serve on the Erin School Board. Also, part of the Hartford Union High School Goals committee and Technology Advisory Board, Gwen has a great feel for what is going on in education today. Along with her family, which is comprised of 2 teenagers and a very understanding husband, Gwen is very committed to her church. Recently, she completed a 3-year term as congregation president of St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Rubicon and now she serves as an Assisting Minister.

For years, Gwen has done many things in and around Erin: town deputy clerk, volunteer in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, tournament director for girls softball league, raffle chairperson for Erin fun fair, participant in the St. Patrick's Day parade, Channel 10 auction collection volunteer, and the list goes on and on.
