The Green Lantern in downtown Glidden was built in the 1920's and offers a certain Northwoods character and charm you don't see everyday. In fact, The Green Lantern landed a spot on 'Discover Wisconsin' in 2014. Patrons enjoy the hardwood floors, original trim, 10' ceilings, walls with original moldings and doors with glass knobs. There are antique sconces that add to the ambiance. The main floor restaurant seats 65 and Friday night fish fry generally serves about 150. The lower level is accessed from inside or from the street, and the original stone bar is the perfect place for a drink after a long day. Upgrades include plumbing and electric, walk in cooler and dumb waiter. There is a front porch and space for horse shoes behind the restaurant/bar. This offers easy access to snowmobile and ATV trails, and the location is minutes from 1,000's of acres of hunting and area lakes, so the Northwoods enthusiasts and locals will want to stop. If desired, the seller will train.
