Your search begins with this map of Wisconsin. Find the tinted area of the state where you're interested in searching for properties, and click it.
This will take you to a map that's framed more closely on the area you clicked.
Check the Property Count above the map to find out how many properties are available within the scope of the map you are viewing.
If there are more than 100 (as there typically are at this point), you will need to narrow your search before First Weber's MapIT Search Technology can indicate the locations of the properties on the map.
There are two ways to narrow your search: By zooming in more closely on the area that interests you; and by choosing property type, price or features.
Drag to zoom: Click on the magnifying glass icon above the map. When you mouse down over the map, your mouse pointer will turn into a crosshair.
Position the crosshair at one corner of the area you'd like to view more closely. Press and hold the mouse button and drag the crosshair to the opposite corner. A blue rectangle will show the area you are defining.
When you release the mouse button, First Weber's MapIT Search Technology will redraw the map, zooming in on the area you have defined.
Is your Property Count still above 100? Try zooming in again - or limit your search by property type, price or features (below).
The menus to the left of the map can help you to narrow your search quickly by excluding property types that don't interest you. You can also limit your search to properties in a specific price range, with a minimum number of bedrooms or bathrooms, or with water frontage or access.
When the Property Count falls below 100, listed properties will be represented by icons on the map.
Click any property icon, and a brief summary (with photo, if available) will pop up next to the property.
Click the More Details link to view a full description of the property. A link on that page will allow you to return to your current view of the map.
To close the summary, click the X at its upper right corner - or just click another property icon to view its summary instead.
This tool is selected automatically when you reach the map page. See the description at under "Narrowing your search by area".
Clicking this button in the toolbox will zoom in on the center of the map by a fixed amount.
Clicking this button in the toolbox will zoom out from the center of the map by a fixed amount.
This tool allows you to change your view of the map by repositioning it. Click this button, then click in the map and drag in any direction. The portion of the map you have dragged into view will then be displayed.
You can also pan by clicking the triangular gray arrows at the edges and corners of the map.
This tool allows you to start your search over. It returns you to the map of Wisconsin described above at the first step.

If no property icons appear on the map, check the Property Count above the map. If the count is more than 100, use the instruction at left to narrow your search, either by area or by criteria. If the count is zero, view a larger area by clicking the Zoom out button as described under "Choose a region from the statewide view."
