Jean Boothby

As recent as the summer of 2017, I found that I have come full circle. Prior to raising a family, I came from a Business, Mortgage and Real Estate background. After 14 years, I returned to full time employment as a Director of Religious Education and Parish Administrator. Utilizing the skills gained from prior employment experience, I seized the employment opportunity as the Assistant Director of Club Alexian, at Alexian Village of Milwaukee. Club Alexian was originally designed as a form of ministry, community outreach and a soft marketing tool to area Senior Citizens in the surrounding Milwaukee Communities. During my employment at Alexian Village I was able to not only grow the membership substantially, I was successful in organizing and providing a wide range of programming designed to support area Seniors' social, mental, and physical health. It was through this programming that I began to feel the pull to return to the Real Estate Market. In the fall of 2016, with the assistance of a fellow realtor, I developed a real estate series designed to walk seniors through the process of preparing their home for a possible sale: from decluttering, selecting and hiring a real estate firm, the listing process, home inspection, the sale and financial implications. It was this program that led me to secure my Real Estate license in the State of Wisconsin and pursue a career in Real Estate by joining the First Weber Team.
