While the Village of Friendship shares it’s Main Street with the City of Adams, Friendship still has a lot to offer those who come to visit. The Village of Friendship is smaller than Adams also, at a population of 725 residents.

On the north side of town is Friendship Lake, a 125 acre lake that reaches a depth of 15 feet. The lake is home to many species of fish including Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. There is a public beach on the lake and the bottom of the lake is almost all sand, making it a pleasant swimming experience.

Within the village is Friendship Park, which has many different activities on offer. The nearby hydro dam creates a pool of water that runs off into the Little Roche-A-Cri Creek. This makes it a pristine location to fish for trout while the kids are playing in the park. At the park you’ll find sand volleyball courts, grills, a pavilion, swings, slides, and more for the kids.

North of town is the Roche-A-Cri State Park and some spectacular views. The park is open everyday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and lets visitors hike, camp, and fish and hunt when applicable. This State Park is known for it’s rock formations and is a must see for anyone visiting the area.

With all of this on offer, it’s easy to see why residents of Friendship chose to stay for so long. If you’re looking to become a resident yourself, check out a listing and find your dream home!
