The Town of Newton is located in Manitowoc County south of the city of Manitowoc and has a population of 2,200.

Newton is just a short drive from the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Take a drive along scenic Lakeshore Dr and take in all of the views that the lake has to offer. Go far enough north on Lakeshore Dr and you’ll hit Manitowoc. Out to the west is Lake Winnebago, which is always open for recreation. Around the lake, there are 19 different boat landings and 13 different public parks. Within Lake Winnebago, there are many different species including Walleye, Bass, Muskie, Northern Pike, and even Sturgeons! This wide variety of fish makes Winnebago a prime spot for most anglers. That, coupled with the fact that the lake is over 130,000 acres, means that you’ll never run out of spots to fish.
