One of the oldest buildings in the district is the Trempealeau Hotel & Restaurant. The restaurant is known for its tavern atmosphere and high-class dishes. These dishes range from high-quality burgers to fresh seafood and prime cuts of steak. The European-style menu is sure to please those with a taste for high-quality dishes. When you need a home-style breakfast but don’t want to do the cooking yourself, head to the River Cafe where they serve breakfast Wednesday-Monday from 6:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. The breakfast brings in people from all around and is recommended. If lunch is your thing, you can get it every day after 11 A.M.
