The museum has many different trains on display, including the GG-1, America’s most famous electric locomotive that has been seen on stamps across the US. For the kids, Thomas the Tank Engine shows up every year and allows kids the opportunity to ride on their favorite cartoon train.

The Ahnapee Sate Trail and Mountain Bay State Recreational Trail provide excellent walking trails and beautiful views for those who are willing to make the walk. The Crescent Beach & Boardwalk provides a spectacular view of Lake Michigan and is home to a boardwalk that allows visitors to walk out and experience Lake Michigan in it’s full glory.
