Marinette, Wisconsin, “Your City on the Bay!” is an inland seaport located on the western shore of Lake Michigan’s Green Bay and at the mouth of the Menominee River. The city of Marinette has a population of about 10,900.
Being on the bay, Marinette offers a ton of different recreational opportunities for it’s residents. Marinette has two different city parks, the Marinette City Park and Red Arrow Park. Both parks offer closed pavilions which can be used for hosting events. Around the city there are five different boat launch areas that provide easy access to the Menominee River and Lake Michigan. The direct route to Lake Michigan offers some great views on the water along with the opportunity to fish for Salmon.
Just across the bridge is the town on Menominee, which is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One of the main attractions in the city is the Lighthouse Ann Arbor Park. This iconic lighthouse sits on the peninsula of Menominee and overlooks the deep blue expanse of Lake Michigan. Along the coast of Menominee there are many different parks to explore, all providing beautiful views of the lake.
