The City of Tomah has a population of 9,093 and is located in the center of Monroe County.
Tomah is known as the Gateway to Cranberry Country as well as “where the I divides.” With interstates 90 and 94 dividing right here, travelers from all over the state pass by and stop in our community. This feature makes it an excellent trucking hub and product distribution spot.
Cranberry Country begins at the community’s north and east sides. Not only are cranberries grown here but they are also processed and distributed to all parts of the world. The small community of Warrens is only 10 minutes north and hosts the ever popular Warrens Cranberry festival where over 120,000 visitors stopped to shop and play just this year.
Tomah boasts a strong military heritage and presence with Fort McCoy, Volk Field and the Veterans Administration Hospital all being near. These entities are strong and steady employers in the area as well as serving our armed forces. The city is also known for producing a large amount of Wisconsin State Assembly members.
Tomah offers a lot in both the way of military heritage and cranberry production. If you’re interested in Tomah, check out one of the properties below and contact an agent today!
