Dan Lee, Vice President, joined First Weber, Inc. as a result of the merger of Don Lee Realty, Inc. (a 20 agent/3 office company) in 2001. He has been a Realtor since 1978 specializing in commerical, investment, recreational and residential real estate marketing and brokerage management.
On a daily basis he oversees FIrst Weber's West Towne brokerage office with over 60 real estate agents and heads the statewide Commercial Division with over 40 commercial/investment specialists.
A former President of the Wisconsin Realtors Association and Vice President of the National Association of Realtors, Dan has served on numerous committees at the local, state and national levels of the real estate organization and is currently a director for WRA, and has held leadership positions in economic development and church organizations. He was nominated by 4 different Wisconsin governors and served (1999-2014) on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) which promotes economic growth, as well as affordable housing for first time home buyer and for low/moderate income and elderly tenants.
Dan currently serves as immediate past Chairman of DMI (Downtown Madison, Inc.), a membership organization that promotes the growth and well being of downtown Madison. He currently chairs the Personnel Committee, and serves on the Finance, Executive, Government Relations and Strat Planning committees, as well as the Board of Directors. In addition, he serves on the Advisory Board of Associated Bank, South Central and of Wisconsin Distributors, Inc., a regional beverage distribution company.
Dan Lee graduated from the University of Notre Dame (BBA - Accounting) in 1974, holds the CRS/GRI (Certified Residential Specialist) professional designations, and has been licensed as a Certified Residential Appraiser since 1979.
Dan and his wife Peggy reside in Westport, just north of Madison. Interests include travel, water sports, golf, reading and Notre Dame and University of Wisconsin sports. They enjoy their family immensely which includes son Matt, his wife Rachel Lee, and daughter Maggie currently pursuing their professional careers and 3 special grandsons.
