Dave entered the real estate market in March of 2002 after a 35-year career in newspaper as an editor with the Oshkosh Northwestern and credit manager with Gannett Wisconsin Newspapers. He added five realty designations through additional schooling in an effort to expand his horizons in real estate and has been a million dollar plus top producer since his first year in the profession. Dave and his wife, Julie, are the parents of two grown sons, who both returned to Oshkosh to live following their graduation from college. Dave and Julie are also the grandparents of five children, ranging in age from 9-years-old to 17. Dave remains active in sports, serving as a WIAA sports official in football, basketball, softball and baseball and has worked as a state tournament official on seven different occasions. He is also active in his church, serving as an usher and communion distributor at St. Jude Parish in Oshkosh. Dave was active in the Boy Scouts, serving as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader and district commissioner. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow and was accorded the Silver Beaver for his years of service. In college at UW-Oshkosh, he was member of Kappa Tau Alpha and Alpha Phi Gamma, two journalism fraternities and Beta Gamma Sigma, a national honor society in business and management. Dave went on to gain journalism degrees at Columbia University in New York and at the American Press Institute at Reston, VA.
